About Me
I’m someone who understands firsthand what it feels like to keep searching for answers. My approach combines evidence-based nutrition with whole-person care, helping clients uncover root causes and create sustainable change through food, lifestyle, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), and personalized support.

Welcome to Renewed Wellness with Kelly
Hi, I’m Kelly.
I’m a Functional Nutritionist, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), Health Coach, CNS Candidate Under Supervision, and graduate student pursuing my Master’s degree in Functional and Integrative Nutrition (graduating December 2026). I’m passionate about helping people better understand their bodies and create realistic, sustainable changes that support long-term health. My approach combines evidence-based nutrition with a personalized perspective because health is about more than food alone — it’s influenced by foundations of health such as sleep, stress, movement, environment, and the many factors that make each person unique.
I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to take an active role in their health journey and are looking for a collaborative, personalized approach. I especially appreciate complex cases and love approaching them with curiosity, a systems mindset, and a desire to connect the dots.
Outside of my work, I’m a lifelong learner at heart. I’m constantly reading, studying, and expanding my knowledge because I believe there is always more to discover. I played soccer through college, and movement continues to be an important part of my life today.
I have a background in elementary education and professional photography. I love spending time with my family and cheering my kids on as they grow through life. On the weekends, you can often find me at baseball fields or dance competitions, squeezing in little adventures, making memories, and enjoying the beautiful chaos that comes with raising a family. We have three rescue dogs — one for each of our kids — and they bring so much happiness and personality into our home.
I wholeheartedly believe in the body’s incredible resilience and capacity for change. I believe that feeling good matters. And I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to feel their best.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you stay a while — and when you feel ready, I’d love to meet you.

So glad you are here
What’s on your mind?
This work is designed for individuals who are ready to look beyond surface-level symptoms and begin understanding the deeper patterns behind their health.
Most of the people I work with come to me after a long journey of trying to “figure it out.” They’ve seen providers, tried different approaches, followed recommendations, and still feel like something isn’t fully making sense. Often, they’ve been told that everything looks “normal,” even though they know in their body that something feels off.
If that sounds familiar, you are not alone—and you are in the right place.

That experience changed the direction of my life. I went back to school for my Master’s in Functional and Integrative Nutrition to become a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), became a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), and learned about health coaching with the goal of helping others get to the root of what they’re going through.
Today, my mission is simple: to help you feel heard, understood, and pointed toward a clear direction. I work with people who know there’s more to their story — who are tired of chasing symptoms and ready to look at the whole picture. I believe in bio-individual care, and I don’t shy away from complexity — I meet it with curiosity and compassion.
Your body is resilient.
No matter where you’re starting from, you deserve the chance to feel like the real you.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
My Story
Growing up, I was often sick — doctor visits, unexplained reactions to foods, brain fog, digestive struggles, asthma, hormonal challenges. In fourth grade, food poisoning led to a ruptured appendix, sepsis, and a two-week hospital stay, leading to many years of struggling to feel well.
As I got older, the picture got more complex: endometriosis, blood sugar highs and lows, chronic sinusitis, H. Pylori, fatigue, digestive and immune issues, struggles with an eating disorder, a long list of surgeries and a body that always felt like it was working too hard. Eventually I got real answers — a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis came after many years of unexplained symptoms. It was a relief to finally have pieces fit together, and it opened my eyes to something bigger: our bodies are constantly communicating with us. Motherhood brought incredible joy, but the same struggles followed me into early adulthood — low energy, blood sugar instability, eczema, brain fog, poor sleep. I was surviving, not thriving.
Until I found a functional medicine doctor who changed my life.
For the first time, someone looked at me — my history, my symptoms, my lifestyle — as one connected story instead of a list of isolated complaints. She understood me and within one appointment, she was able to explain it all back to me in a way that no one ever had. I learned that food is powerful, that sleep and stress matter more than I ever realized, and that supporting the body well doesn’t require perfection; that even though I have a chronic illness, I can still be healthy and feel great. Within months, I felt better than ever; within six months, my eczema flares were gone. But the real shift wasn’t physical — it was discovering how resilient the human body truly is.

Why I Do This Work
My approach to health is deeply rooted in lived experience, curiosity, and a belief that the body is always communicating with us. Symptoms are not isolated problems to be fixed individually—they are signals pointing toward deeper patterns within the body as a whole system.
I believe the body is inherently resilient and adaptive when given the right support, time, and understanding. True healing is not about quick fixes or perfection; it is about uncovering root contributors, restoring balance, and creating the conditions that allow the body to do what it is designed to do.
This belief shapes everything I do. I meet each person with curiosity instead of assumptions, and I view their history not as a list of separate diagnoses, but as a connected story that deserves to be understood in context.
My role is to help connect those dots, support meaningful and sustainable change, and walk alongside people as they rebuild trust in their body and their health.
